EQUINE LIGHT THERAPY

Light therapy is a very effective and safe treatment for pain and inflammation due to the ability to penetrate deep through the layers of the skin, to the muscles and bones. Red and near-infrared light wavelengths keep joints, muscles and tissue healthy by promoting cellular regeneration and reducing inflammation. Enhancing and improving circulation in the skin and other parts of the body, it can bring oxygen and nutrients to injured tissues, promoting healing. It helps ease pain, relieve inflammation, and protect against oxidative stress.

Al of our Equine Light Therapy products have connections which make them portable when used with a power bank and can be placed on difficult to reach areas and secured with Velcro and/or Velcro straps- very useful when using on animals that find it difficult to stay still.

Using light therapy has shown an increase in healing times from injuries and overall happy and healthy horses who haven’t had to undergo stressful and invasive recovery treatments. Horses with minor injuries benefit from increased circulation to the area, reduce swelling and allowing horses to relax muscles and often they will be looser and more supple in training.
